Sooner Schooner Hat

Sooner Schooner Hat

Boomer Sooner, on your head. The Sooner Schooner Hat is a foam replica of Oklahoma's legendary covered wagon — white canvas top, brown spoked wheels that roll out past your ears, and the SOONER SCHOONER lettering running down both sides in crimson.

Every Sooner knows the sight: OU scores, and the RUF/NEKS send the wagon tearing across Owen Field behind the matching white ponies, Boomer and Sooner. A scaled-down Conestoga that has been running since 1964 and an official mascot since 1980 — a piece of the 1889 land run crossing the field after every touchdown. Now you can bring that moment into the stands in Norman, onto the tailgate lot, or into a watch party anywhere in the country.

Pull it on for SEC Saturdays at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, the Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl, or a road trip across the conference.

Why Sooner fans love it

  • Lightweight foam — oversized silhouette that weighs almost nothing on your head
  • One size fits most — flexible foam band adjusts comfortably to adults and older kids
  • Hand-cut wheels and spokes — real dimensional detail, not a flat printed shape
  • Crimson OU detailing on the front panel
  • Game-day tough — bounces back after a full season of tailgates and travel

Perfect for

Football Saturdays, road trips, homecoming, alumni watch parties, tailgates, spirit weeks, Halloween, student sections, and the OU fan who is impossible to shop for.

Care: spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Store upright, away from direct heat.
